We’re Cindy and Felicia Gomez and together we make up The Cookie Duo, a mother-daughter team specializing in custom decorated cookies. We are based in Vista (North County San Diego) and serve the greater San Diego County region. We are proud to be a women-led and Latina owned small business.
We launched The Cookie Duo in May 2022 as a way to combine our love of all things desserts and design, but we know that the work we do today was born from some of the special women in our family who made cookies mean something more to us.
The matriarchs in our family — our great grandmothers, grandmas, and moms (including Cindy) — have all passed down the tradition of baking cookies as a way to bring together loved ones, spread love and joy, and to strengthen the bonds between women. We're honored to keep our family's traditions alive with The Cookie Duo and hope it will inspire new traditions in our family for years to come!
- Meet Cindy: (right in photo) Cindy is the mom of the duo and the lead baker. She's in charge of developing the delicious cookie and icing recipes, as well as the one in charge of packing all orders with decorated flair.
- Meet Felicia: (left in photo) Felicia is the daughter of the duo and the lead decorator in charge of creating the designs for the cookies.
